As I'm sure a lot of you are aware, yesterday someone who stole my account made a frontpage news post linking to a trojan.

First off, thanks to Mindchamber for his quick response and helping me get things settled again.

Second of all, I'm sorry if anyone was infected with the trojan. I know I had nothing to do with the virus, but I still feel guilty my name and frontpage ability was used to take advantage of others.

I suppose I was lucky, as lucky as anyone who gets their account hacked can be, that I was phished instead of getting the trojan.

What got me, and what you need to look out for, are suspicious links on the BBS. Now I'm smart enough to always hover over links, so I know not to click freewebs.com.cn/newgrounds_1434/art.ht ml, however what got me phished was a link that appeared to link to Newgrounds in every single way I knew how to check. The best advice I can give you is curiosity really does kill the cat, don't click anything claiming to lead to the art or lit portal unless the url is from Tom.

Sorry for any headaches I caused anyone, I'm just glad to have the account back. Time to check my Flash submissions out to make sure nothing was replaced :(
